Non-Food Related Actions

  • Based on a request by IR-4, the EPA has approved a grass tolerance for the herbicide dimethenamid (Outlook®).  (Federal Register, 8/8/07).
  •  The EPA has again issued the Section 18 specific exemption for the use of thiophanate (Topsin®) on cotton for control of fusarium hardlock.  The exemption will expire on 7/21/08.  (FDACS letter of 8/1/07).
